Finally walking into the church after I had to hide behind the limo while the last bus of guests arrived at the church. Guess we didn't time it as well as we thought, but at least everyone made it to the church. It was at this point when the nerves hit me.
Hanging out with the girls while we waited for our turns to walk down the aisle.
Walking down the aisle with my dad. If there was going to be a moment where I cried, this was it. I was so excited to get up that aisle to Ryan, but I also felt so overwhelmed by the fact that all of our friends and family that we love so much were all in one place to celebrate our wedding with us. It was truly an amazing feeling. Somehow, I was able to keep my composure and hold the tears back, but it took everything I had.
I love this picture of me and my dad. I'm pretty sure that I'm looking at Ryan, hence the huge smile on my face.
I also love this picture for a couple reasons. 1) It's me and my dad. 2) You can see how beautiful the floor of the church is. 3) You can see Ryan's Uncle Mike with his huge camera leaning way out to get a picture.
My dad giving me away.
During the homily/readings. For some reason, we couldn't stop chatting with each other.
A picture of our beautiful church.
Another cool picture of the church - I think this was taken with the fish-eye lens.
The blessing of the rings. So, apparently, we were supposed to give both of the rings to Dave so that he could give them to our Deacon ahead of time. I had given the rings to Becky thinking that she'd hold Ryan's ring and then when we got to the church, she'd just give my ring to Dave. So, when the guys were hanging with the Deacon before the ceremony, he asked Dave for the rings, and he didn't have them! So, they texted me, and of course I didn't have my cell phone with me in the limo. Since they couldn't get ahold of us, they started to get a little anxious about the rings even though Becky had them both with her. We almost ended up using Ryan's parents rings for the ceremony, but we arrived and the rings were given to Dave just in time.
With this ring...
Deacon: "Alright, Ryan, please give Wendy your left hand for the ring." As you can see in the picture, he got his left and right confused and had his right hand out for me. So, I'm giving him the "Are you kidding me?!" look and you can also see the Deacon laughing at me/Ryan. I absolutely love that our photographer caught this shot.
Finally, we figured out left from right, but you can see that we both are still laughing as I'm starting to put the ring on his LEFT hand.
