June 3

Ryan had to work late tonight, so I took the girls out to dinner at Eggspectations. It went surprisingly well, and Caitlin was thrilled with my decision!

Happy to be outside for a walk tonight.

She is going to kill me someday for posting this, but this was taken right before she pooped in the tub tonight. Such a stinker!

When I went to bed tonight, I went in to check on Caitlin and give her a kiss. She wasn't in her bed, and I couldn't find her in her room. Irrationally, I had a moment of panic that somehow she wasn't in the house or that someone had taken her. I walked out into the hallway and found her sleeping on the floor. I have no idea how I missed her on my way into her room, but I did. She sure keeps things interesting around here!

We spent the day celebrating Leah's 3rd birthday at her first birthday party of the weekend.

May 30

Caitlin had her 2nd dentist appointment today and because she's four now, she got to sit in the chair all by herself. We made it through most of the visit without her having to sit with me. The hygienist didn't get to finish cleaning her teeth because Caitlin decided she didn't like it and wouldn't open her mouth, so there's that. So stubborn, this kid. But, no cavities! We celebrated with lunch at Red Robin!

Caitlin also had her butterfly picnic after school today. Her class (and the other classes) raise (grow?) butterflies, and then have a picnic to set them free. Such a fun time for everyone, and they had the snowball truck come this year!

Little sister enjoyed herself too! She especially liked hanging out with her teachers and watching all the activity!

Happy 4th birthday, Caitlin! We spent the day celebrating her and doing all the things she loves most... Playing at the bounce house place, lunch at the "really cheesy noodle place" (aka Boston Market), going to the pool, and enjoying dinner and cake outside tonight.
