We went hiking in Patapsco Valley State Park near our house today, and Caitlin and I went wading in the river. She was so excited about the water - the first time we took her out of the stroller, she started to run straight for it! Scary because she seemed to have no fear, but also very exciting to see that she wanted to go swimming. I wish we would have realized how great this place was a little earlier this summer, but at least we know it's there now.
