49 Weeks Old

Caitlin,
You turned 49 weeks old on May 3rd.  Here's a recap in pictures of your 49th week with us.

You ate some cheese.  It is one of your favorite things to eat these days.

"Mom, I'm done.  Can you please get me out of this thing?"

We tried to take your 11 month pictures and this is what happened. 

You played with the 11 month sticker. 

This was the best one I got out of the first 11 month picture session.  

I took your 11 month onesie off, and you crawled around in your diaper. 

You read your farm pop-up book. 

And then you crawled on the book. 

You walked around the furniture and played with Bunny. 

You played with the remote for the ceiling fan. 

And then you chewed on it. 

You checked out your diaper. 

And then you found a cord to play with.  Don't worry, I didn't let you play with it for very long. 

We tried AGAIN with your 11 month pictures. You clearly do not like to sit still anymore. 

Still trying to get you to sit still. 

You checked out your bear. 

You weren't sure about him - like you didn't want him touching you. 

Still on the move. 

"Eww, stop touching me, bear."

"And, now I'm going to stand up in the chair and show you my moves."

I had to call in the reinforcements (Daddy). 

Finally got you to sit down in the chair. 

Grandmom came to visit and played "This Little Piggy" with your toes. 

Grandmom loves you so much that she's even willing to kiss those toes! 

Grandmom makes you laugh.  I love this picture even though it's blurry. 

Grandmom and Granddad stayed with you while we went to Aunt Becky and Uncle Jordan's wedding.  They took you for a walk in your wagon. 

You showed them that they can do "So Big". 

And then you tried to take your hat off. 

Success!

You watched Daddy mow the lawn. 

You tried to get his attention by banging on the door. 

You found a water bottle in the recycle bin and chewed on it. 

You found Daddy's shoe and wanted to play with it. 

This is your unhappy face.  Thankfully, we don't see it that often. 

You crawled toward my camera - you are so interested in it. 

You wore Daddy's hat. 

And then you wore your hat. 

I put it on you backwards because I knew you'd look so cute with it like this!

Of course, you took it off. 

You wore Daddy's hat backwards. 

We went outside for a quick photo shoot.  You look so sad in this picture. I'm not sure why. 

You tried to put your hat on. 

You decided the grass wasn't so bad.
