Every morning, Ryan brings Caitlin downstairs to start breakfast while I'm getting dressed. We usually switch off so he can eat some breakfast, and I can finish feeding her and spend some time with her before they leave for school. Most of the time, she could care less that I'm there. She watches his every move while he makes coffee and eats his cereal. This morning, he walked out to the garage to put something in the car, and she watched the garage door patiently (with a sad look on her face) until he came back. This was her reaction (the beginnings of a big smile) when he walked back through the door. She is definitely a daddy's girl these days.
