30 Weeks Old

Caitlin,

You turned 30 weeks old last Wednesday (Dec 22nd)!  Here's a recap of your 30th week with us.  Get ready for picture overload!  You were just so incredibly cute this week! 

I practiced making a hat for you, and we tried it on for size.  It wasn't even close to being completed so it looked like a baby yarmulke.

I tried to get a picture of your new teeth, but this is what I got.  You had no interest in opening your mouth for me to get a picture.

We played the "pants on your head" game.  This is what Daddy does when he changes your diaper. I love those chubby legs!

You played in your exersaucer and chewed on the music note.

You played with Daddy outside your exersaucer.

You sat on the floor and chewed on your strawberry. 

You took a break and gave me a pretty smile.

You chewed on the strawberry again. 

I love this face.

You smiled for my camera.

And went back to chewing on the strawberry.

You had to take a break and check it out to make sure it was acceptable to put back in your mouth.

It must have been ok because you went back to chewing on it.

You were so serious about chewing on that strawberry.  I think there are some new teeth coming in.

You have all these toys and you wanted to play with the tag on the back of your mirror on the activity mat.

We did some tummy time. 

You turned yourself around a little bit to look at my camera.

You tried your first cheerio.  We put it in your mouth, and it slipped out and got stuck on your chin in all the drool. 

You thought we were trying to poison you with the Cheerios.

You were definitely not sure about those Cheerios. 

Stuck in the drool again.

We let you try some water from a sippy cup. 

Again, you thought we were trying to poison you.  You let it all run out of your mouth!

I thought you looked so cute helping Daddy hold your bottle.

We got dressed to go to a party at Lori & Dom's house.  You were very interested in the Santas that were on your feet.

What a big girl you are!

You are definitely Santa's favorite!!

You had your first experience opening Christmas presents and were very interested in the cow that the Bradleys gave you. 

You helped Daddy open your Christmas gift.

And tried to eat the paper.

You were very excited about your first camera that Aunt Crystal gave you!

You were very excited about your new bath toys from Aunt Tracy!

We did tummy time and you got tired and put your head down on the blanket.

We had Christmas, Round 2 with the Chicks.  You helped Daddy read your Christmas card from Nanny and Pop-Pop.

You checked out your "Baby's 1st Christmas" stocking. 

You tried to eat the new carseat toy that Nanny & Pop-Pop gave you.

You helped Daddy open some more presents.

You were so excited about your new teething ring!

You decided you could open your presents on your own.

You were so excited about Christmas!  If you look closely, you can see you two new teeth!

You checked out the new piggy for your carseat. 

You told Daddy "I got this, Daddy.  You just sit back and relax."

You were very excited about more presents from Aunt Crystal & Uncle Gary!

Checking it out!  You were so serious about opening this present.

You were so excited about your new tea set.  Daddy can't wait to have a tea party with you.

You hung out with Aunt Crystal and chewed on Sophie.

Aunt Crystal gave you kisses.

You played in the bath tub with your new bath toy!  You love trying to pick it up and chewing on the rings. 

"Mom, is this going to be posted on the blog?"

You relaxed in the bathtub like you were at the spa.
