29 Weeks Old

Caitlin,

You turned 29 weeks old last Wednesday (December 15th).  Your first tooth popped through this week on Sat, December 11th with your 2nd one showing up on Weds, December 15th.  They are the bottom middle teeth!  You've actually handled it quite well.  We had a little fussiness, and you were more clingy than normal, but for the most part, you've been your usual sweet, laid-back self.  You also rolled from your back to your stomach this week.  You don't do it regularly, but one day, you rolled over during naptime and couldn't figure out how to get back, so you just went back to sleep on your stomach. Here's a recap of your 29th week with us!

You started working on rolling from your back to your stomach.  

You love to play with Sophie while you're in the exersaucer.  She usually ends up either on the floor, on the bottom of the exersaucer in the blue tray or in the seat.  The other thing that happens in the exersaucer is that it usually helps you to poop.  On this day, Sophie must have made you mad because you pooped and then sat on her!  Poor Sophie, it must have been so stinky down there. 

Chewing on another teething toy while Sophie suffered.  

You tried carrots.  You weren't a huge fan until we got to day 3 when you ate more than the first 2 days. 

You did give me a cute smile though!

Daddy wiped your face after you were done eating. 

This is how you felt about it.  You hate having your face cleaned!  

You were playing in your exersaucer and threw Sophie and this was how she landed!  Daddy and I thought it was hysterical!

You moved on to biting on the mirror while Sophie hung out.  You love this part of this exersaucer! 

"I'm going to eat you!"

You lost your balance and made a really funny face that I caught on camera!  Yes, the mirror really is that dirty.  Every time I try to clean it, you just slobber all over it!  

You decided that you wanted to play with Sophie again.

You sat on the floor and played with your laptop and monkey. 

You were so hungry that you tried to eat your placemat.  I promise we really do feed you!

You laughed at me.  

I think you were talking to me in this one. 

You gave me a pretty smile! 

You love looking outside when you sit at the table!  

You also love to just look around and see what's going on which is why I have a picture of the back of your head.  Your bald spot is slowly going away, but you can still see it! 

You decided that your bib looked good enough to eat.  

You hung out with your cousin Stacey who just got back from Italy!  

You are a sock eater!  You pull your socks off and chew on them all the time.  You're checking this sock out to make sure it's acceptable to put in your mouth.

You like to bite on the sock for a little bit and then you take it out and look at it. Once you make sure that it's still your sock, you put it back in your mouth.

You realized that your feet were uncovered and decided to try your toes!
