27 Weeks Old

Caitlin,
You were 27 weeks old last Wednesday (December 1st).  We had your 6-month appointment this past Monday (Dec 6th), and here are your 6-month stats:

• Weight: 12lbs 5oz (<3rd percentile) - my previous posts said 5th, but I think it should actually be 3rd
• Height: 26 inches (I didn't get the percentile, but I think you're between 50th and 75th percentile)
• Head Circumference: 40.5 cm or 15.9 inches

Here's a recap of your 27th week with us. 

You did tummy time.  Look at all those toys! 

You turned a little bit so you could look at my camera. 

You are definitely teething!  Here's proof... 

Your tongue in this one makes me laugh! 

That silly tongue is out again. 

You took a break to chew on your hand and give me a pretty smile. 

Chewing on your thumb. 

You decided to check out the mirror on your exersaucer. 

Back to chewing on the rattle. 

And then you moved on to Sophie.  I think it's fairly apparent from the pictures below how much you love Sophie. 

You blew some raspberries at Sophie. 

You tried avocados and clearly were not a fan. 

Poor thing.  We are so mean to make you eat avocados. . 

We tried again the next day.  You weren't so sure about what Daddy was doing. 

Again, you were not a fan. We tried it again the next day, and you actually did a little better.  You didn't love them, but you got more than before.  

I did get a smile out of you though.  

"Eww, Daddy.  What are you doing to me?"

We went to see Grandmom and Granddad, and you tried to stand on the dining room table.  It was slippery. 

You finally got your footing with Daddy's help.

We took your six month pictures. 

You tried sweet potatoes.  As you can see from the amount that is on your face and bib, it was not a huge success. 

You laid on Daddy and chewed on your piggies. 

I love it when you make this face!

This is another one of my favorite faces you make, even with all the drool!
