13 Weeks Old

Caitlin, you were 13 weeks old on Wednesday (August 25th).   I've been very delinquent in my weekly posts, but I'm working very hard to get caught up over this 3-day weekend!  Going back to work has been exhausting!  Anyway, here's the week 13 recap in pictures!

You worked on tummy time at the beach.

You hung out on the couch like a big girl at the beach house.

You were super fussy one night at the beach, and Daddy finally broke down and put the Bjorn on so he could try to calm you down.  Daddy looks much better wearing the Bjorn than the guy in the Hangover did!

You talked to Aunt Alexis at the beach.

You tried on your red bikini from Aunt Alexis.  Unfortunately, the bottoms were a little too big for you, so you didn't get to wear it to the beach, but it made for a fun photoshoot!

Daddy put a lot of sunblock in your hair and gave you a new 'do.

You were so tired that you fell asleep while Aunt Alexis was putting your cover-up on.  She got one arm in and then you fell asleep.  So, we finished dressing you and put you in the Bjorn and you fell back to sleep before we even left the house to go to the beach.

Daddy put your feet in the water.

We took a family picture at the beach.

You played with your first shovel from Grandmom.

You put on your party dress to celebrate Aunt Alexis's birthday.

The next series of pictures just makes me laugh.  This is how I found you when I went to get you from your nap one day at the beach.  You were doing everything you could to get your hand into your mouth.  Of course, instead of helping you, I grabbed the camera and started snapping away.

You were a beach bum.
