Caitlin's hair is getting longer, but her crazy cowlick is more apparent than ever.  The longer it gets, the more it seems to stick straight up.  We still think she is the cutest thing in the world.

In honor of the tooth (top middle left) that broke through today, here's a picture of our little drool machine.  She has 3 teeth, but I think #4 will be showing up very soon!

Today, Caitlin turned 8 months old.  Thought I'd share a sneak peek of her 8-month photo shoot with Ryan today.  Apparently, she has decided that she doesn't want to sit still anymore.

If you look closely, you might be able to see her 2 top front teeth that are going to pop through any day now.  Also, on her left check, there's a little black stripe (a bruise), from when she fell over this past weekend and hit her face on the lower shelf of the coffee table.  When the bruise started to appear, Ryan told me that she kind of looked like a football player with a black stripe under her eye.  I'm sure that's only the first of many bumps and bruises to come. 

34 Weeks Old

Caitlin,

You turned 34 weeks old last Weds (Jan 19th).  Here's a recap in pictures of your 34th week with us! 

You played with your blocks.

And then you knocked them over.

You hung out with me.  I love how you're touching my face.

You get so excited about the computer!

You played with your doggie blanket.

And then you got tired (you took a nap shortly after this happened).

You had your first meal in your "new-to-us" highchair.

You had some puffs, and one got stuck to your chin.

You scooted yourself under the coffee table.

And then you watched some TV while laying under the coffee table.

You hung out with me and were being so cute. 

You have recently started sucking your thumb when you are playing.  You used to just do it when you were sleeping, but it has been occurring much more often lately.

You chewed on your teething toy. 

And sucked your thumb again.

You played with your elephant.  Looks like you've got your thumb ready to put it back in your mouth.

You look so darn cute in your jeggings.

You hung out with Sophie.

You tried to get the remote from the coffee table.

I snapped a picture of you mid-roll.

Another one mid-roll.  You are pretty talented holding on to your baby at the same time that you're rolling!

You practiced standing behind your stroller.

You love playing with the bear on the stroller.

Daddy told you to "use two hands" and you just laughed at him.

You blew raspberries at me.

I think you were talking to me in this one, probably trying to tell me to put the camera down.

You hung out with Daddy.

January 24

Another day, another angle.  I swear Caitlin's top 2 teeth are just about ready to pop through.   Ryan took this picture today by putting the camera on the floor and shooting upward.  I started a new job today (it was great, but overwhelming) and could not wait to get home to my girl for a snuggle!  Thankfully, I made it home in time for bathtime and bedtime!

It's so much fun to watch Caitlin try new foods and even eat foods that we know she likes.  Today, she had carrots and apples with some cheerios for lunch.   What a mess, but so much fun!

Caitlin loves for us to read to her and loves to play with her books.  Ryan called her a "pink lady" today because he dressed her in all pink.  That little smirk on her face is just too much!

I can't put my finger on what it is, but I think she really looks like Ryan in this picture!  Ryan took this picture tonight after I got home from work and was trying to feed her a bottle, but Little Miss Distracted could not sit still.  After every couple sips of milk, she had to sit up and check on what Daddy was doing.

Looks like someone is mighty proud of herself for being such a big girl.  She hasn't taken any real steps yet.  For now, it's much more fun to practice standing while holding onto her stroller. 

33 Weeks Old

Caitlin,

You turned 33 weeks old last Weds. (Jan. 12th).  Here's a recap in pictures of your 33rd week with us!



I brought my camera upstairs one morning and took pictures of you while we were getting ready for the day.  I can't get over how big you look, especially your legs!

You hung out in Mommy & Daddy's bed while I got ready for work one morning.

You showed us how flexible you are.

You laughed at Daddy and pulled your pants leg up.
