Opening their Christmas book tonight.

Crying about who knows what.  She gets so frustrated so easily these days.


She recovered and got to help open the Christmas book.


Caitlin had swim lessons tonight, so Natalie and I hung out.  Love that sweet little face.

We had a surprise visitor tonight!  Santa on a fire truck!  We heard him go by our house so we quickly got ready to go outside and wait for him.  So, we got to celebrate Natalie's 18-month birthday with a visit from Santa.  When he came back to our house, she clung to me!


Santa finally came back!


And gave Caitlin a candy cane.  Does she look excited or what!?


More of the excitement.  I seriously love Christmas a thousand times more now that I have kids.

Trying on her fireman's hat from our trip to the fire station for the train garden.


We had Natalie's 18-month appointment today.  Poor baby had to get two shots and was not at all happy about it.  Her stats were as follows:
Weight: 20 lbs, 9 oz (22%)
Height: 30.5 inches (14%)
Head: 45 cm (19%)
She dropped a little in % for height.  She was at 71% at 6 months, 45% at 9 months and 21% at a year, so our doctor just wants to monitor her height to make sure shes stays around 20%.  Also, since I probably will never officially write a 12-month post, her 12-month stats are as follows (for my record):
Weight: 18 lbs 8oz (29%)
Height: 28.4 inches (21%)
Head: 43.8 cm (20%)

Spur of the moment trip tonight to the train garden at the Ellicott City Fire Department.
