We were waiting to for Grandmom to log into Skype so we could call her, and Caitlin says "It's not working".  She is too funny.  Even though she wouldn't say it while we were on the phone with her, Caitlin would like to wish Grandmom a very happy birthday!  We love you very much and hope you had a fabulous day!!

Showing off her new shoes (and her Phillies hat).  I had to tell her that I was taking the picture to send to Leah in order for her to stand still for me.  Otherwise, she was running all over the house as far away from my camera as she could get. 

July 29

We took Caitlin to her first Orioles game today, and we were lucky enough for it to be in a suite with AC!  She loved seeing the Oriole bird (and she told us multiple times that "he doesn't fly" and "he's black and orange"), but she did tell us on the way home and multiple times tonight that she likes the Phanat (Phanatic) better.  She did not want me to take her picture at all, so this was the best I got.  Silly girl.  We also had multiple people comment about how good she was despite it being naptime.  All the credit for her behavior goes to unlimited snacks (popcorn, pretzels, cookies, etc.) - those are the things that really make her happy! 

July 28

Caitlin had so much fun playing with Parker today.  They loved climbing up on the playset to go down the slide into the little pool as many times as they could.

She was playing her harmonica with Daddy tonight.

She was pretty proud/happy with herself for putting her helmet on her dolly.  Happy 26-month birthday, baby girl!

Caitlin is obsessed with bugs, so when I showed her a small cricket that was hopping on the table on the deck, she couldn't get enough.  She watched him hop all around (as he tried to get away from her), and at some point, he hopped onto her face.  I wish I had a picture of her face when that happened, but in this picture, she was telling me how the cricket hopped on her face.  Doesn't she look so scared/sad?  She recovered pretty quickly, but it was so funny.  I'm sure the fact that I shrieked when I saw the cricket on her face didn't help much either.

We finally made it to a Phillies game, and they won for a change!  Caitlin loved it so much, and I think the Phanatic has even surpassed Elmo in status.  She kicked Little Elmo out of her crib tonight because she wanted to sleep with the Phanatic that we got at the game today.  As you can see, she also has an awesome new Phanatic hat to wear.  When we were leaving the game, she turned to me and Ryan and said "I had fun".

Awesome day in Philly with these 2 cuties.  As always, they had a blast playing together!

Buckle Monkey!!  She's getting really good buckling all the buckles.  We still have to unbuckle them for her though.

Helping Daddy water the flowers (or her hand) tonight before dinner.  She is such a big helper these days.

This was Caitlin's reaction when she saw the Phanatic on TV today.  Everytime she sees him on TV, she gets really excited and runs to get her Phanatic pillow pet.  We are planning to go to the Phillies game on Sunday, and she is very excited to meet/see him!

Watching Elmo on the iPad with Elmo.  Grandmom gave Caitlin this Elmo awhile ago, and Caitlin found him recently, and he basically hasn't left her sight.  She has taken him to school, to bathtime (where he watched instead of getting a bath too), for car rides and to bedtime.

She was showing me how she could eat her cherries/plums with her eyes closed at dinner tonight.  Silly girl!

A new way to eat corn on the cob.  Thankfully, she remembered that she likes it! 

July 14

We had the bright idea to move Caitlin's little playset (that is really Connor's) over to the pool and make a water slide today.  Cassidy would pour water on it to make it fast, and this was the result of one of the faster trips down the slide.  She loved it!  Caitlin loved hanging with the Cardones yesterday and this morning!  When they were pulling out of the driveway, she turned to me and Ryan and said "I had fun!".

Apparently, this is the best way to eat cherries.  Thankfully, she remembers that she likes them again.

I had to work late last night, so Caitlin got to hang out with Daddy.  They had a fun night of playing at open gym at Gymboree and dinner at Chick-fil-a.  He sent me this picture with the comment "Trying to get away from Daddy."

Hooray for popsicles.  Caitlin ate ALL of her dinner tonight, and we were so happy that we let her have a popsicle for dessert.

Happy 4th of July from our little fish.  We spent almost the entire day swimming.  She was asleep within 5 minutes of me putting her down in her crib tonight.
