October 6

Today was pajama day at school, and Caitlin ate her first apple like a big girl.  She didn't make it through the whole thing, but she made a little dent in it!

We went outside to play and take a short walk since the weather was relatively nice tonight.  Ryan got home late today, but he called while I was getting her dressed for bed.  I gave her my cell phone to hold while we talked to Ryan on speakerphone.  She was pretty excited about that - so excited that she pushed the button to hang up on him twice, but that's another story. The really neat thing was that when Ryan calls me, his picture comes up on my phone, and the entire time we were talking to him, she was pointing at the picture and saying, "Dadadadada".  She never ceases to amaze me!

Her mouth is full of puffs and she's double fisting them.  Can you tell that she loves snacks?

Caitlin and I went to hang out with Val this morning, and we went to this super cute playground by her house.  There was a section for the little kids and then one for the bigger kids, and Caitlin was obsessed with the big kids' slides.  Of course, that meant that one of us had to go down the slide with her because they were so steep.  Even though, it's blurry, this is one of my favorite pictures of the day.

"Here, Mommy.  Please take this for me."  The weather was so nice after we got home tonight so we went for a quick walk.
