June 14

This is what happens when you try to give her something new to eat.  Today, she liked cantaloupe and baked sweet potato fries - I couldn't get the fries out of the oven and cooled down fast enough.  The crying started when I tried to get her to eat a cheese quesadilla (cheese between 2 tortillas).  She LOVES cheese and almost all carbs, but apparently, she thinks they shouldn't be eaten together.  I even pulled the tortillas apart to show her that there was cheese inside, but she wanted no part of it!  I'm going to keep trying though. I'm hoping someday, I'll convince her to try and she'll love it and then I can sneak some veggies in!

June 12

We went out and played in Caitlin's new pool today.  At first, she wasn't sure about it, but after a while, she warmed up to the idea. She looked so darn cute in her new bathing suit!

I'm not even sure what to say about this picture.  She has another cold, so we just hung around the house this weekend.

June 10

She loves to walk around and carry something with her.  She's holding her "Little People" dog who she likes to give to me so I can make the doggy noise ("woof, woof" in case you weren't sure what that meant) and also give him kisses.  As soon as I do this, she holds her little hand out to ask me for him back.

June 9

I'm waiting for the day when she realizes that she can fit into this cabinet.  Our power went out from 8 pm - 130 am last night.  Not so much fun when it's about 100 degrees outside and there is no air moving.  Didn't seem to bother Caitlin though - she slept right through it without a peep.

She is definitely no longer a baby.  She is growing into such a little girl who is showing us her personality (including being stubborn and having a little bit of a temper, but also being super sweet and snuggly at times) more and more each day.
