She is so into walking all.the.time now!  Grandmom & Granddad got her an alphabet mat for her "playroom" (i.e the sitting room), and she must have walked back and forth on the mat at least 5 times tonight!  We had her one year well visit with Dr. M today, and everything was good (other than her shots, of course!).  She weighs 17 lbs and is 30 inches long!

I worked later than normal today, which meant I was late picking her up from daycare.  This is what I found when I got there at 5:45.  Apparently, she passed out at 5:10.  They said she was walking all over the place today and that she doesn't even think about it anymore, she just walks.  She even tried to walk out the back door when they had it open.

Caitlin loves her new Dora Sunglasses!  She was so excited to put them on her head and then she'd shake her head so they'd fall down and she'd be wearing them.  She also liked to have Grandmom wear them (and because I want Grandmom to continue to like me, that picture will not be posted on the blog).

My beautiful girl at her birthday party!  It was so much fun.  She wanted absolutely no part of the cake.  She was not happy that we would ever think that she might want to have some cake!  Towards the end of her party, she really started showing off and was thrilled to show everyone how she's walking now.  She can even bend down and get back up without pulling herself up on something.  We are so proud of her and just cannot get over what a big girl she is!  This is such a fun age, and we are really enjoying it.  Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!!

I know it's blurry, but this is so her. We are loving seeing her learn new things.

This is what she does when you say "How big is Caitlin?"

When I picked Caitlin up from daycare today, she didn't have her shorts on.  Apparently, someone (and I'm not naming names) had a bit of a blowout in her diaper.  At least, she was kind enough to let her teachers deal with it!
