15 Weeks Old

Caitlin, you turned 15 weeks old this past Wednesday (Sept 8th), and  I am finally all caught up with your weekly posts!!  Here's a recap in pictures from week 15.

You played on your activity mat.  You love the monkey - he's the blue and pink animal that you are looking at in the picture.

You were Baby Houdini once again!  I was working from home one day this week because Daddy had an interview.  You were napping and all of sudden I heard all this commotion from the monitor, so I turned on the video part of it to see what you were doing and this is what I saw.  Of course, I picked up my camera to take your picture before I got you up from your nap.  You were awfully proud of yourself!

You watched the mobile in your crib.  This is another thing that you absolutely love!

You played on your activity mat again, but this time you were kind of obsessed with the giraffe.

You are getting pretty good at grabbing things, including your giraffe. 

You stuck your tongue out at your giraffe.

You tried to eat the giraffe's feet.

You sat on the couch like a big girl with Daddy.  One of your new tricks is pulling on your clothes.

You tried to eat your hands.

We did tummy time on the Boppy.  Everytime we do this, I am amazed at how well you are holding your head up.

We FINALLY had a really nice day (although it was a little windy), so we took a blanket outside and hung out for a while.  You loved it!

You were very interested in the pattern of the blanket.

We have started giving you a "lovey" and so far, you seem to really like them.  Of course, you are always trying to eat them!

The next 3 pictures were my attempt at a little photoshoot with you.  I think you look so cute in them, and I think they may be my new favorites!

This is another one of your new tricks.  When we lay you down or with your head resting against something, you try to lift forward, almost like you want to sit up. 

 You tried to eat your hands.  You are getting good at getting them to your mouth!  You can also tell how windy it was that day by looking at your crazy hair. 

I liked the way you had your other hand in this picture.  You were lounging.

You hung out with Daddy.

Hanging with Mommy.  I thought it was funny how you had one hand up on your head.

We did a little fashion show.  Although this isn't your Halloween costume, we still think you make a cute duckie.

14 Weeks Old

Caitlin, you turned 14 weeks old on September 1st!  It's so hard to believe that it's already September!  Here's the recap of your 14th week in pictures!

You watched TV with Daddy.  I love how you both have the same look on your faces!  You are definitely like Daddy when it comes to your love of TV.

You turned 3 months old and sat on the chair like a big girl (with Daddy's help).

You practiced tummy time. 

You were Baby Houdini again.  This is how Daddy found you when he went to get you up after a nap while Mommy was at work. He texted me a picture of you like this and it made me laugh out loud.

You read a magazine with Daddy.  It must have been very interesting.

You posed for my camera after I put a bow in your hair.

We tried another bow, but you weren't too sure about it.  This is the best picture I got of you with the pink bow.

Here you are watching TV again.  You were mesmerized.  Don't worry, we don't let you watch TV all the time.  You mostly get to watch sports and the food network.

Hanging with Daddy one morning.

One night you were particularly fussy, so we put you in the Bjorn and decided to go for a walk.  Daddy was still cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, so you and I started walking.  By the time Daddy caught up to us, you were passed out. 

You sat in Daddy's chair like a big girl.  I think you look so cute in these pictures!!

13 Weeks Old

Caitlin, you were 13 weeks old on Wednesday (August 25th).   I've been very delinquent in my weekly posts, but I'm working very hard to get caught up over this 3-day weekend!  Going back to work has been exhausting!  Anyway, here's the week 13 recap in pictures!

You worked on tummy time at the beach.

You hung out on the couch like a big girl at the beach house.

You were super fussy one night at the beach, and Daddy finally broke down and put the Bjorn on so he could try to calm you down.  Daddy looks much better wearing the Bjorn than the guy in the Hangover did!

You talked to Aunt Alexis at the beach.

You tried on your red bikini from Aunt Alexis.  Unfortunately, the bottoms were a little too big for you, so you didn't get to wear it to the beach, but it made for a fun photoshoot!

Daddy put a lot of sunblock in your hair and gave you a new 'do.

You were so tired that you fell asleep while Aunt Alexis was putting your cover-up on.  She got one arm in and then you fell asleep.  So, we finished dressing you and put you in the Bjorn and you fell back to sleep before we even left the house to go to the beach.

Daddy put your feet in the water.

We took a family picture at the beach.

You played with your first shovel from Grandmom.

You put on your party dress to celebrate Aunt Alexis's birthday.

The next series of pictures just makes me laugh.  This is how I found you when I went to get you from your nap one day at the beach.  You were doing everything you could to get your hand into your mouth.  Of course, instead of helping you, I grabbed the camera and started snapping away.

You were a beach bum.

And, this picture is for the Cardones.  You still try to eat your arm occasionally when we're doing tummy time on the Boppy.
