We attempted to take her 11-month pictures this morning, and this is what most of the pictures look like, except most of the other ones are blurry.  She's a girl on the move.  Caitlin also wants to wish her Granddad a Happy Birthday!  We hope you had a wonderful day and love you very much!!

April 27

I tried to take her 11-month pictures today without Ryan's help and was not very successful, so I took off the 11-month onesie and let her play for a little while with just her diaper on.  She was pretty happy about that decision.

Happy 11-month birthday, Caitlin!  Her newest obsession is shaking things and hearing the noise they make and clapping.  She really likes to clap with things in her hands and hear the noise it makes when the two things hit each other.   Another great day at daycare with no tears when Ryan left, and she even took a 2 hour and 10 min nap this afternoon!

Happy Easter!  We had a great weekend celebrating with the LeNoirs and Cuneos!!  Caitlin really seems to be coming out of her shell, and we've had so much fun with her lately!

April 23

My big girl after she had her lunch at Aunt Alexis and Uncle Tim's house today.  Despite the nasty cold, she was in a pretty good mood today.  I think she was savoring every last minute that she had Aunt Alexis' and Grandmom's undivided attention before her new baby cousin arrives.  We cannot wait to meet her in a few weeks!! 

April 22

Little Miss Caitlin learned how to clap, and she showed me tonight when I was feeding her dinner!   I didn't even say anything about clapping - she just started doing it all on her own!  I don't know who was more proud, me or her!

April 21

Caitlin loves graham crackers!  We are trying to work on teaching her to not talk with her mouth full!  Really, I just caught her with her mouth open when I took the picture.  Caitlin had another decent day at daycare - she even took a nap longer than an hour, and for the last 2 days, there were no tears when Ryan dropped her off!  We think she has a cold or allergies, because she's been congested and coughing this week.

42 Weeks Old

Caitlin,

You turned 42 weeks old on March 16th.  Here is a recap in pictures of your 42nd week with us. 

You took your blocks out the cookie jar.   Whenever we put blocks in your cookie jar, you can't wait to take them out. 

You pulled up on the ottoman. 

Still working on it. 

"Yes, Daddy?  Did you need something?"

Success!

You played with your baby after you emptied your toy basket.

And then you put your baby aside and checked out your other toys. 

"Hmm, is there anything left in here?"

You pulled yourself up on your toy basket.

Just chillin', biting on one of your toys.  I think it's pretty funny that you're using your dinosaur book as a seat. 

Off to the races.  You found something else that you were interested in. 

You stood up in your crib and Daddy got you on camera.  You are pretty talented to be able to stand up while wearing your sleep sack. 

You crawled over Daddy's legs. 

Just so you could pull yourself up and walk around the coffee table. 

We read a book and Aunt Becky took our picture. 

You crawled over to the chair to check out your bear suit. 

You gave me the "What do you want, Mom?" look. 

You checked out the snap on your bear suit. 

And then you decided it would feel good on your gums. 

You stood by your high chair and checked out the straps and got distracted by the TV. 

April 20

"Reunited and it feels so good."  I try to remember to have bunny with me when I pick Caitlin up from daycare because I know she loves him so much!  She had another good day.  When I picked her up, she didn't have pants on.  Her teacher told me that the pants we put her in this morning (her gap jeans that were oh so cute) were too big for her and she kept walking out of them, and that she was hot, so they just took them off!  Caitlin didn't seem to mind.  I think she liked the freedom.  I did take her outside when we got home to let her feel the grass - I tried to have her stand in it, but she wouldn't so I sat her down, and she was not a fan.  We're going to have to work on that.

April 19

Fresh out of the bath and almost ready for bed.  I LOVE how good she smells after bathtime!  Caitlin had her first "accident" at daycare today.  She faceplanted and got a fat lip when she was climbing on the mats in her room. The fat lip was basically gone by the time I picked her up.  I probably wouldn't have even known it happened if they didn't call me, but I'm still glad they did.  Her teacher said she had a really good day today otherwise.  She is definitely starting to settle in there.  She and another little boy, Cody, emptied out the toy baskets today.  They didn't play with the toys or anything, just emptied everything out of them.

April 18

Just a girl and her bunny.  Caitlin had a pretty good day at school today, other than only taking a 35 minute nap. She still seemed to be pretty happy when we got home tonight though.

April 17

We went out to lunch at Looney's Pub today, and Caitlin was a really good girl!  She loved throwing things on the floor and watching us pick them up for her.   This is her "grinding her teeth" face (and it makes me cringe every time I hear her doing it) .  I am posting this in honor of the FOUR new teeth that we found today.  We knew that the one on the top right was just about ready to pop through, so Ryan was feeling around in her mouth this morning, and he found two more on the top towards the back!  And, then when Ryan was tickling her this afternoon, and she had her mouth wide open, I saw another on the bottom towards the back.  I quickly shoved my finger in her mouth and confirmed that another has broken through!  For those who are counting, that means she has ten teeth now!  We also think she may be starting the transition from 2 naps to 1 because both days this weekend, she took only one nap. It will be interesting to see what she does at daycare this week.

April 16

I love every single thing about this picture.  Ryan is such a good Daddy to Caitlin, and she loves him so much.  We had a very nice lazy, rainy Saturday at home today.

I'm not quite sure why, but whenever Caitlin plays in her walker, she loves to talk to us.  I think in this picture, she was saying "Happy Birthday, Pop Pop!!  I love you!!". 

41 Weeks Old

Caitlin,

You turned 41 weeks old on March 9th.  Here's a recap in pictures of your 41st week with us!

You pushed your stroller over to your exersaucer.

You were so proud of yourself when you transferred from the stroller to the exersaucer.

And, then you did the splits.

You pulled toys out of your toy baskets.

This is one of your favorite things to do these days.

You gave Daddy a big smile for the camera.  Those 2 front teeth are so cute!

We hung out one morning before I went to work.

You stood by the coffee table. 

We tried your carseat again before Daddy installed it in my car.

You inspected your carseat.

Such a happy girl!

And found a random sock.

You found a rattle that you were interested in.

You ate a teething biscuit.  I love that you used 2 hands!

Daddy tried to feed you cheese and veggies, and this is what you thought of it.

You tried on my hospital coming home outfit, and you were not thrilled.
